Hello Runners,
Dave Martin here, Movement Training Specialist, Fellow of Applied Functional Science (Gray Institute) and Founder of Move FX.
Today I would like to introduce you to the Move FX Runner Training Series - 3 Levels of Functional Training Courses created specifically for runners.
Running was instilled in me at a young age as my dad was a former college track athlete and competitive marathon runner.
Having played a wide variety of sports my entire life, running and sprinting we're almost always a significant aspect of my training.
As I got older I began to understand the importance of running and how it can be a LIFELONG Sport/Activity/Movement for everyone.
My passion for sports has led me into a career based on high performance training. During this time I have had the chance to learn from many world experts in the field.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a coach/movement specialist helping others train for various sports and activities.
Over my career I have learned their is a lack of detailed information to help athletes achieve high level results, especially in a sport such as running.
The general training most athletes perform often fails to prepare the body for the demands of the sport, in this case the demands of running.
Over time my goal became to create training courses that different types of runners can utilize in order to significantly improve their performance.
Ultimately I want to educate and empower you to LEARN and APPLY valuable training knowledge so you can run at a higher level.
With these courses I hope to give you the tools to customize your training routines around your specific goals and needs.
Enhance YOUR ABILITY to Perform as a Runner
Have you sensed a loss of swing speed?
Have you experienced various injuries related to golfing?
Have you tried golf lesson and purchased new equipment with minimal improvements?
If you're like the majority of golfers, you are battling your own body when trying to hit the ball effectively. Many times an over-emphasis is placed on the skill aspect of golf without focusing on the movement capabilities of the golfer.
By training your body specifically for the detailed biomechanics of the golf swing, you can not only improve your current ability but build resilience to chronic overuse injuries that so many golfers experience.
